We have been enjoying the start of the fall. As the weather cools and the leaves change colors, our students and teachers are settling into their daily routine. This month we have focused on a few online learning tools and some awesome resources that can be shared using these tools. 

• Seesaw - Try this digital portfolio tool to save student work, create assignments with oral instructions or explainer videos, and allow students to submit video or audio clips explaining their work.
• Edmodo - Or try this online learning environment to share presentations/videos/links and create assignments. With  FREE built in Office Online, you can have students submit Word documents and Powerpoint presentations when completing projects.  They don't have to save their work because they have cloud storage! The creative  possibilities are endless.
• Remind - Keep parents in the loop with Remind. Send emails or text messages to your entire class from any device without sharing your number or having to worry about those pesky "reply all" responses.

Once you've made a decision about the appropriate online learning option for your students, you can use resources like eMediaVA, Khan Academy, Discovery Education (formerly United Streaming), YouTube, and StudyJams to give your students the opportunity to learn skills they are struggling to grasp and practice skills they are starting to understand.
